Will The Vaping Health bill Affect You?
A recently available report was released by the European Committee for Tobacco Control that’s quite disturbing. It states that Vape Pen vaporizing is just as harmful as smoking. The only real difference is, once you vaporize you’re inhaling the active ingredient of the cigarette – nicotine. Therefore, it becomes easy to see why they feel that it must be legalized.
Also, many people argue that they do not feel that vaporizing is harmful to your health as you inhale the smoke and not the poison in the substance. However, you can find other issues with this. First, some of the materials found in the manufacturing of cigarettes contain several toxins, including carbon monoxide and tar. Second, research in addition has shown that smokers who regularly use vaporizers suffer from significantly higher rates of stroke, cancer and cardiovascular disease.
Not only is this news disturbing nonetheless it is also sad. It’s ironic really as the tobacco industry claims that it wants less smoking. However, studies show that if an individual replaces cigarettes with these devices they will still be smoking. Is that what they’re promoting? They are also promoting an addiction that may last their whole lives.
As though the health issues weren’t enough, there is also another important little bit of information that people haven’t discussed yet. This is the fact that smoking is an expensive habit. Even though you quit cold turkey, you will still have spent thousands of dollars on cigarettes. So not only do they want to criminalize your behavior also, they are trying to eliminate the money that you’ll be spending on smokes later on.
Unfortunately, these laws don’t just connect with vaporizing. They also connect with chewing, e-picks and any device that might cause a cigarette to be burnt. You can be sure the cigarette companies will work very hard behind the scenes to determine new methods for getting cigarettes burned. They have developed products such as papers, lighters and also matches that will result in a cigarette to be burned once you light it.
This is not the only thing that they are doing though. They also want to criminalize normal aftershaves and lotions that contain alcohol. This might include moisturizers, colognes, lotions and even aftershaves. Many of these products are designed to be employed to the skin. Now imagine having to tell individuals who they shouldn’t use those things because they might give you cancer or something.
The European Union has made a new law that goes into effect in July. It states that all advertising for tobacco must include the words “caution: cigarette smoking”. The EU also wants companies to add the warnings and ingredients that go into tobacco products. Even though many people believe that these laws will affect only cigarette companies, the simple truth is that all companies that sell cigarettes have to comply with the laws.
This means that the vaporizing industry may also have to change. It’s believed that vaporizers could visit a decline in sales over the next several years. Many vaporizing devices will no longer be manufactured or sold by the major manufacturers. Instead, smaller companies that don’t make as much money may find themselves struggling in which to stay business. This is the reason the vaporizing industry is quite volatile.
There is absolutely no doubt that the new laws will have an impact on the Vaping industry. Many vaporizers don’t work any differently compared to the devices that were manufactured prior to the new laws were passed. Many people think that this means that vaporizers are going to lose their interest younger consumers. While this is true, the older generation always seemed to have a taste for technology. Vaporizers don’t need to be updated to keep up with the times. Most of them already use Wi-Fi settings, Bluetooth headsets along with other internet applications that many folks are familiar with.
The laws are also set to affect just how that nicotine and other additives used in smoking are advertised. They are found to cause cancer in lab rats, so it’s unlikely that these ads will be allowed to be aired any more. Companies could face steep fines if they are caught advertising cigarettes with additives.
It is uncertain whether the laws could have any long-term influence on public health or not. It is widely believed that the laws were create as a scare tactic by the tobacco industry to get people to stop smoking. Now that they will have achieved their goal, they will be looking to shift people’s attention back to other things. Many people believe that this will actually be the best thing for the industry because it will encourage people to quit smoking once and for all.
